Greene Farm Launches #TakeBackLunch Campaign

Greene Farm teams up with TV chef, Clodagh McKenna, to launch the #TakeBackLunch Campaign

Greene Farm has teamed up with TV chef, Clodagh McKenna, to help change Ireland’s lunch break culture with their #TakeBackLunch campaign. Greene Farm and Clodagh McKenna are offering clever tips, advice and delicious, healthy recipes as they encourage the nation to change their lunch time habits and make the most of their lunch break. Top tips, recipes and ideas can be found on the Greene Farm Facebook page or under the hashtag #TakeBackLunch.

Greene Farm makes the perfect lunch, every time, with hand prepared meats that are 100% natural, and free from additives, allergens and gluten. With only 15% of Irish workers taking time away from their desk for a full hour lunch break, and more than half of us dinning el desko, Greene Farm is now on a mission to help Irish people make the most of their lunch breaks this summer. Instead of eating at your desk, why not make a healthy, easy Greene Farm lunch and then get outdoors for a walk, read a book, or take a fitness class? Changing up lunchtime couldn’t be easier with Greene Farm’s ten ready to eat products, including two new products, Sriracha and Tex Mex Mini Chicken Fillets.

Clodagh McKenna, Greene Farm ambassador, said: “We live in a busy, always-on world, and this often means working long hours without stopping for a breather or getting outdoors. By skipping lunch, you miss out on 5 hours of ‘me time’ a week, which equates to 30 days of annual leave. Greene Farm’s #TakeBackLunch campaign wants to enable Irish people to own their lunch break again, by getting outside, eating healthy, delicious food and taking some time to themselves. I am a huge advocate of this.”

Greene Farm spokesperson, Lisa Doran, said: “Taking Back Lunch is so important for your overall health and wellness. At Greene Farm, we want to encourage people to step away from their desks and enjoy their lunch break to the full. We are excited to have the support of Clodagh McKenna, as she is one of Ireland’s most loved chefs. Clodagh has created a delicious Greene Farm Mexican chicken salad, which will be available on the Greene Farm Facebook page. Our easy, ready to eat products work perfectly in pasta, salads, wraps or sandwiches, helping you to make the perfect lunch, every time.
