Congratulations to all the schools which took part in this year’s Certified Irish Angus School Competition in Croke Park today
It was wonderful to meet the students from over 40 schools who created informed research projects on a variety of agriculture topics including Animal Welfare, Carbon Emissions, and Farm Safety.
Simon Walker, Sean Coffey, and Mick O’Dowd from Kepak presented the trophy to the students from Holy Rosary College Mountbellew who were the winning school of the 2023 Certified Irish Angus School Competition.
Peter O’Neill, Amy Higgins, Oisín Colleran, and Cormac Delaney from Holy Rosary Mountbellew researched the topic “Improving Quality of Beef for Customers”
Helen Carroll interviewed each school at the event on their learnings from the project which included Industry Knowledge, Project Management, Presentation Skills and so much more.
