Kepak is excited to unveil Forward Together with Every Step, our new sustainability communications platform aimed at driving meaningful change across the farming sector, our operations, and the communities we serve. This initiative embodies our commitment to fostering a more sustainable future through collaboration, innovation, and tangible action.
At the heart of Forward Together with Every Step is our belief that sustainability is a collective effort. Our community of over 17,000 farmers across the UK and Ireland plays a pivotal role in shaping a more environmentally and economically sustainable future. From hands-on guidance during facility visits, to knowledge-sharing sessions at our Research & Development farm, we are working closely with farmers to introduce and implement innovative practices that enhance both productivity and environmental stewardship.
Our platform focuses on three key pillars:
1. On the Farm
We’re partnering with farmers to ensure they are equipped with the tools and knowledge needed to adopt sustainable practices. Through initiatives such as the Twenty20 Beef Club and our UK integration partnership, to our work with the SAI Regenerative Agriculture Platform, we are pioneering fairer economic models and leading the industry with innovative approaches to carbon reduction. With each step, we aim to make a lasting positive impact on both economic viability and environmental health.
2. Across Our Operations
Minimizing our own environmental footprint is a top priority. Our operations focus on leveraging cutting-edge technologies like AI-powered wind turbines and water recycling systems to reduce energy consumption and preserve natural resources. Additionally, through responsible sourcing and recyclable packaging, we’re ensuring that the materials we use are both ethical and environmentally friendly.
