Last week, Kepak welcomed Dawn Bowden MS for Merthyr Tydfil and Rhymney, as well as Minister for Social Care in Wales, to our Merthyr site. With over 1,100 staff, Kepak stands as one of the largest private employers in her constituency. Minister Bowden was pleased to witness the ongoing investment in both the site and the workforce, with an additional 150 staff employed since her last visit.
During her visit, Minister Bowden was joined by Prys Morgan, Kepak UK Livestock Procurement Director, and Michael Richards, Production Manager for a tour of the factory (pictured). The presence of such distinguished guests highlights Kepak’s commitment to fostering positive relationships with local government representatives and demonstrates their dedication to sustainable growth and development within the community.
Stay tuned for more updates on Kepak’s ongoing initiatives and contributions to the Merthyr Tydfil and Rhymney region.
